Procedure

Pandit offers flowers, sweets and fruits as prasad to Lord Hanuman. He also lights incense sticks, dhup and a diya which should continue to lit continuously till the paath goes on. Sesame oil is used in the diyas. Hanuman Chalisa paath is recited 108 times continuously without any break. The paath concludes with aarti and bogh vitaran.

There are no such particular auspicious days to perform Hanuman Chalisa paath. One can consult the pandit to look for the best tithis and subh muhurat. Paath done on Tuesdays and Saturdays are considered most fruitful.
