Satyanarayan Pooja is a way to show gratitude to Lord Vishnu for blessing our lives with fortune and beautiful things. The pooja helps to get rid of the evil spirit and obstacles in life. Satyanarayan pooja brings positive energy to our lives. Those who perform Satyanarayan pooja receives the divine blessings to help them in their career, business and personal life.
Procedure
Satyanarayan pooja includes shaligarm pooja, kalash stahapana, Satyanarayan katha, aarti and havan. Satyanarayana Katha is a collection of 7 kathas narrating the stories of Lord Vishnu and his devotees. Satyanarayana Pooja is observed in the presence of family, relatives and neighbours. The pooja concludes with aarti and havan for graham Shanti. Panditji and the person who performs the pooja observe fast till the conclusion of pooja.
Auspicious Muhurat
Satyanarayan pooja is performed on the full moon day or Purnima as we call it in the Hindu religion.
